- Open Udhyog and sign in with your email, password, or OTP flow.
- Complete email or phone verification if the app asks for it.
- If app lock setup appears, save the PIN or passphrase before you continue.
- If this is your old computer but local data is missing, choose Restore Backup first instead of creating a new firm.
- If you have a local backup, select it and enter the backup passphrase carefully.
- If you have cloud backup, keep internet stable until restore is fully complete.
- After restore, check the active firm name before adding or editing any data.
Tip: If you are joining someone else's firm, ask the owner for the access code before you start recovery steps.
Important: If the backup passphrase is lost, that backup cannot be restored.
Recovery first is safer than making a new firm when your old business data already exists.
